The water section of this harbour fantasy was inspired by an Egon Schiele painting that I saw hanging in a Viennese art gallery. I would be flattered if Schiele would recognise his influence on the colourful play of the water and the serenity of the boats at anchor. But he would surely not recognise the Valparaiso, Chile homes and lampposts in the background.
